Our Organization
Innovative Theater Arts is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization formed in 2022. Our purpose is to help create and promote dramatic theater productions centered around social injustice issues.
Producing Artistic Director
Milton Williams has performed internationally as a Conductor, Baritone Soloist, and Narrator, appearing in both solo and orchestral performances in western, southern, eastern, and central Europe, Canada, Bermuda, and throughout the United States. He was the Associate Conductor for the production of Leonard Bernstein’s theatre piece MASS, performed at the Vatican.
His abilities to compose, conduct, and perform multiple genres of music and dance are exemplified in A Bridge To The Promised Land: 1968. Although he began writing the story more than 50 years ago, its portrayal of the challenge we collectively face with societal issues today was prophetic. It strips bare the difficulty in balancing justice, providing help to the inner cities’ homeless, and challenging political inequality at the local, state, and national levels.
Associate Artistic Director
Douglas Webster has appeared on Broadway, National tour and in regional theater. His guest appearances include The Boston Pops, The National Symphony and others across forty-six of the United States, and Europe. Webster has become a foremost authority on the production of Leonard Bernstein’s Theatre Piece MASS, having led over twenty-five productions as celebrant, casting director, stage director and/or producer. These included casting and leading the premiers at Carnegie Hall, The Vatican, and The Dallas Symphony Kennedy commemoration; Music festival appearances in Aspen, Cabrillo, Birgitta (Estonia), Sacred Music (Latvia), and Peralada (Spain).
