Gloria McFall

Gloria McFall is from the Portland OR area, now residing along the mighty Columbia River in Cathlamet WA. She retired from Fred Meyer and Kroger after 35+ years; the first 10 years spent in advertising before moving into merchandising and procurement. Just prior to retirement she was responsible for purchasing general merchandise items for 2,500+ Kroger stores, shipping from 5 major warehouses around the country.

Gloria is a rabid Boston Red Sox fan, enjoys cooking and volunteering, listening to R&B and Blues music and never misses an episode of Jeopardy! For many years she was actively involved in fundraising for American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life and organized an annual bus tour of local gardens, raising almost $10,000.

She was also an early volunteer member of a non-profit radio station - and Edward R. Murrow award winner - called Portland Radio Project (prp.fm on the web) and helped get it off the ground and onto the airwaves at 99.1 FM in May 2015.

Gloria has been in several community choirs - most recently with The Bayside Singers of Ocean Park WA under the direction of Milton Williams.
